    We probably have somewhere between 22 and 26 unique players. All we would need is about 15 of them like you said that would be playing most games. 12-13 is fine for right now, but eventually we need to be able to build the games back up because like I said, small games are so hard to balance...

    I actually think 15 would be a good place to shoot for eventually. 12-13 is fine when the section is less active, but they’re so much harder to balance. 15-16 I think is a nice number that’s not too big and not too small.

    I think we can easily fill 15 right now. My game had 13 and several people who didn’t play mine played your 12-player game. That said, his is supposedly small. Like 10 I think.

    To be fair in this kind of set up cult was more or less just a second town alignment. I think if the SK had a standard serial killer win condition, I think it would’ve been more fair.

    I loved seeing a lynchproof again. It was the first thing removed my games after WF feedback, but they can be so useful for balancing.

    Speaking of my more complicated setups, TVD mafia had a jester and lyncher in player. They left the game when they won. I believe the jester achieved their win con. Lyncher I think lost.

    It’s honestly semantics but usually when a indie has a win con that isn’t needing to be the final player alive, that just leave the game when they achieve it. You wrote the win con the way you did and that’s fine, but if you hadn’t, Wang making the final three didn’t by itself make it so sister...

    My first 2-4 games had that stuff and all the random if x happens, y happens. I miss designing that stuff. Post games just became too brutal for me, though. Maybe now that a lot of the more vocal complainers are gone, I can try again.

    Fair enough. I’ve been criticized for buffing the serial killer, too. Not sure why his win con is just to get to final 3. Is there a particular reason he’s not supposed to be last player alive like the usual serial killer? Just curious.

    I like that Juice basically designed a year one Smark game with hidden roles and lynchproofs. Stuff that got beaten out of me ages ago. I will say I miss making complicated games with these kinds of moving parts.

    I think it’s a good idea to keep track of who wins games. Even if we don’t track individual player points. Which always turned into resentment.

    When Wang helped with the lynch I thought either a double win, or he’d be bitten and win with zombies. I already knew about the final 3 so I assumed Man, Sister and Wang could win together.
