    I mean it's a plausible scenario, especially if everyone and their mother thinks it's actually Ospreay. Mone is still hurt to my knowledge too.

    I think the tampering that led to that breach of contract is more likely, because Tony would probably do everything in his power to sign the guy away from WWE considering all the reports coming out that they were interested. What makes this more complicated is that he's the current IWGP US/UK...

    If it's Ospreay, then not only did he breach the New Japan contract even though it still had a few months left, and there was tampering which makes Tony Khan look like a complete hypocrite.
