MVP and Kenny King start off the night by announcing a tag team tournament, with the winners being crowned the new #1 contenders to the TNA Tag Team Championships.

(1) Tag Team Tournament
Samoa Joe & Low Ki def. MVP & Kenny King.

-Bram comes to the ring and brings out Magnus. They bash Devon, Abyss and a few others, until Devon cuts them off. He says his brother Bully Ray isn’t here tonight, but Tommy Dreamer comes out in his place. The four guys brawl and the babyfaces end up standing tall.

(2) Matt & Jeff Hardy def. Ethan Carter III & Brodus Clay. No word on whether or not this was a tournament match, or what Clay’s new name will be.

(3) The Beautiful People def. Madison Rayne & Taryn Terrell. Madison didn’t even try to help her partner, and turned on her at the end. She also attacked TBP so they’re not back together yet.

James Storm comes out with Manik and Sanada. They say there’s a storm coming in TNA, and call out The Wolves. Storm tells Davey Richards that his partner is holding him back, and invites him to join his team instead. Eddie tries to cut him off, but Richards is angry and says he can speak for himself.

(4) James Storm def. Eddie Edwards. There was some arguing between the Wolves, but ultimately no decision was made from Davey.

(5) TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Bobby Roode def. Bobby Lashley (c) to become the new champion. Kurt Angle was the special guest referee, and there were a lot of nearfalls, false finishes, ref bumps and other shenanigans.

-Sam Shaw segment with Brittany, where they made out in the ring for awhile. Gunner comes out and calls them creepy bastards, and the men end up fighting. Brittany lows blows Gunner, Shaw puts on a white glove and knocks him out, then the two make out some more.

Havok (c) def. Gail Kim. Said to be a great match between the two, once again. Gail got thrown off the ramp, the ref was going to throw out the match, but Gail wouldn’t let him. Havok won via chokeslam off the top rope to retain.

-Rockstar Spud came out to talk about turning babyface and leaving Ethan Carter III. EC3 and Brodus Clay came out and attacked him, but Eric Young showed up to even the odds.

(7) Hardcore Match
Devon & Tommy Dreamer def. Magnus & Bram.

Thoughts?

SO PISSED THAT ECIII AND SPUD ARE NO MORE

I don't read the spoilers because the show is just really good to watch. I've been loving it since EY winning the title and not because EY, I really don't have an opinion on him, but it seemed TNA woke up when he won the title.

While the Brodus signing just reeks of yet another WWE hasbeen pickup, I think he could be a nice signing for them if they let him more of a character that is suited to him like a monster because the guy was actually a decent promo too.
