There's a big Sims 4 sale going on, and lo and behold, they've got a bunch of DLC bundled at the moment:

Just started playing a little of The Sims 4 on PC. I had a go at making Sims of Anna Kendrick and Jenna Ortega.

Probably going to build my own starter home too, but with the budget they give you at the start so it'll likely be pretty basic. Something simple but cozy.

You should definitely try the homeless challenge. It's stupid easy on Sims 4 with fishing and all that, but great for if you wanna play a nothing to something run

Yeah I enjoy working my way up from nothing, it's pretty fun and feels like a journey with your Sims I guess.

Built a full-on farm. Went for a refurbished haunted house aesthetic, hope it turned out well.

Started playing The Sims 1. My Sim is not having a good start to the day.. Be careful with those TV's, kids!

Whilst the first is incredibly basic, I always really liked the vibe and charm of it. Plus it has some of the best music in the series. PS2 looks better than I expected. This is just at the native resolution too. I'll be bumping up the visuals later.

What's so wild about those console ports of The Sims is that they're actually all glorified tech demos and proof of concepts. Sims Bustin Out's whole development was a proof of concept for having workable vehicles in The Sims for PC. It would be later implemented in Sims 2 with garages and cars, but brought to full fruition in Sims 3 with its open world.
