You COULD make money from websites powered by forums, but you'll need too have consistent traffic though. Like 1k users online every day makes headway. 1k views to 3k views does the trick, too.
Issue is THIS site is dead. YOU would need to put money into advertising or marketing.
I remember the good ol Efeuds here and there when Solid Snake was around and Grievous and JEFFRY.
