A bit bummed that Riho is the women’s title match, though.

Tony Khan confirmed on Culture State that not every championship will be on the line for the special Saturday show, which will take place January 8 at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“No, it's a one hour show,” he confirmed. “It's a one hour event, so I can't put every belt on the line. It's a great chance on a Saturday night to expand the reach of AEW by giving the fans great championship matches, which is a night that we know people love watching wrestling, that you can build an audience, especially for a big event. So, there’s going to be big championship matches, I'm very excited about it.”

Hoping the one hour is a trial and if this does a good number they get at least 2

Not gonna lie, being one hour seriously sours me on this.

They’re putting 4 months between Full Gear and Revolution. I needed a top tier show out of this.

Yes at really wish it was two hours. One hour here for what’s supposed to be a huge show isn’t good enough

They’re putting 4 months between Full Gear and Revolution. I needed a top tier show out of this.

they never advertised it as anything but a Saturday special though. I think this might be a case of setting expectactions higher than they should have been? its an extra hour of aew so im still happy

I would echo wishing it was 2 hours but I'll enjoy it regardless, It's a credit to AEW that I want MORE than less from their wrestling shows. Even Rampage always leaves me wanting more, but they do a good job of filling the hour there.

I don’t know why, but I don’t like specials that are still called the name of the tv show and air in the normal slot.

Impact made all their monthly PPVs tv specials too and it killed the company for me.

Don’t get me wrong, AEW does a better job than Impact and I love that they go all out on tv every couple months, but it can’t replace a legit supercard for me.

I think the problem too is Winter is Coming outside the match graphics, didn’t use the logo on the skirt, or change the set at all. So really it’s just a Dynamite.

When you think special you don’t think 1-hour, though.

I’m pretty sure they compared it to Clash of the Champions. Unless I’m mistaken.

this is all fair, esp the bolded . they could do a bit more to make it different
