Bayley is hellbent on seizing the WWE Women’s Champion when she goes to war against her former ally IYO SKY at WrestleMania.

Following a confrontation with Nia Jax on Raw, Bayley said she would reveal which Women's Champion she would challenge on SmackDown. Then on the blue brand, The Role Model surprised the rest of Damage CTRL when she revealed that she understood Japanese and therefore knew that her perceived allies had been mocking her behind her back for some time. As the faction stood stunned, Bayley turned to SKY and officially declared that she was going challenge the titleholder on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

The Genius of the Sky has proved herself to be just that by rising to the new heights time after time to solidify her reign. Bayley is a the fir-ever Triple Crown and one of the top Superstar challengers SKY has faced to date.

The Rock and Roman Reigns set for iconic face-off at WrestleMania XL Kickoff!​

STAMFORD, Conn., February 3, 2024 – WWE®, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), today announced that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Roman Reigns will face off at an open-to-the-public fan and media event – WrestleMania XL Kickoff – live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this Thursday, February 8 at 4 p.m. PT.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. PT.This non-ticketed event, delivered by Pizza Hut, is free for all to attend.

Fans and media will hear from both The Rock and Roman Reigns, as well as WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Onsite interview opportunities for media will immediately follow the event with both participants, Cody Rhodes, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.

Building on the anticipation for the already-record-breaking WrestleMania XL, Thursday’s event will be hosted by Monday Night Raw commentators Michael Cole and Pat McAfee, and stream live on WWE social and digital channels as well as Peacock.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes​

The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship will be on the line when Roman Reigns defends his title against the winner of the 2024 Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes.

The Tribal Chief defeated The American Nightmare in the main event of WrestleMania 39 and after a painstaking year, the two-time Royal Rumble winner will finally get another chance to finish his story and become the undisputed champion when he challenges Reigns again.

After winning the Royal Rumble in January, Rhodes spent days mulling over whether he'd face Reigns or WWE Heavyweight Champion, Seth "Freakin" Rollins. Rhodes confirmed that he'd be facing the Tribal Chief during the WrestleMania XL Kickoff in Las Vegas, angering and insulting The Rock who wanted a match with Reigns.

Will Reigns continue his dominant run as champion or will The American Nightmare finally finish the story?

so I kinda got into it in the SD thread but I'm gonna go on a bit of a rant
This Mania is crazy important for Hunter, TKO, and the company as a whole
The Vince stink isn't close to being gone as far as the public goes and they are being vocal about everthing
starting with the Cody situation and if they didn't learn that from having to pivot then they are fucked but it's not just Cody they have to make this the most feel good Mania ever...even more thank Kofimania
yes Cody needs to win but also
Jey ending Gunther's streak and winning his first singles title at that same mania and hell in the same night needs to happen so that we feel for the first time that the Bloodline is dying... him beating Jimmy would do nothing for him...how they are presented Jey is a major star and Jimmy is the fall guy of the bloodline...you can build him back up but doing it for Summer Slam...slaying Gunther makes Main Event Jey truly Main Event
Bayley needs to headline night one and needs to win and over come Damage Control...the crowd wants her so bad now...it's the second longest running storyline they have going...she needs her flowers and for once be the most well presented member of the Horsewomen.
and lastly LA Knights needs to beat Logan Paul and get gold...like he's still white hot but if they don't do this now they will have missed the whole boat on him and they just can't let that happen.

as far as Seth goes I hope it's a three way and then Priest comes out and makes it a 4 way, as long as Seth loses I'm fine with any winner
tag titles should be one someone else by this point, I was hoping it'd be the Creeds but I'd be cool with BSS taking them into Mania

Personally i'm more interested in the Brother vs Brother matchup than I am Jey/Gunther. I don't see it as any kind of fumble or bad booking decision if they don't go that route because it's clear they want Gunther to carry the IC title past Mania which is why they wanted to put him up against Brock.

Get Rikishi involved, this isn't how you were raised etc. Have the big blowoff at Mania but it ends in a way where you can all their beef has been squashed and even though they're on seperate brands now, if they needed each other then they would be there for them.
