I knew he was him when Russo put the NWA championship on him in 2003. He had so many talented main event players and he gave that kid the keys.
Which is a great way to bring this back to the fact that AJ and Cody are two of the only four people to ever win the NWA championship and the WWE championship. I really hope we get to see AJ versus Cody at backlash.

So I actually have a working theory regarding Jimmy.
Personally I don't think he's going to reunite with Jey or go into Roman's corner. I think this is their way of splitting him off into a singles competitor as a lone wolf heel, untrusted by his friends and family specifically because he betrayed both the Bloodline and Jey Uso in the past, and he's responsible for screwing over so many others.
I think this is gonna be a long story where he feel directionless and aimless and has to come to terms with his own past actions

Is an interesting theory, but I think Jimmy is like the one person I think is like 100% locked in for Roman’s side. It’s actually the Jey component that I’m not sure about because I’m not sure if Jey can forgive either Roman or Jimmy.
I’m think Roman/Jimmy vs. Solo/Tama to start off before any other pieces are added.

Tama always wanted a Civil War but those cowards in the elite ran away.
See I don’t think Jey will have a hard time getting back with Jimmy. He cut the promo on Raw where he said as “soon as the bell rings at Mania, we can go back to being the Usos.”
Throughout all this, he’s never stopped loving his brother.
It’s going to be him getting over everything Roman did to him. This entire angle started with Roman mentally and physically abusing Jey. And it took Jey 3 years to finally do something about it.
When Roman comes back, Jimmy will be ready. But Jey is the last domino to fall. There’s gonna be a segment where Roman and Jimmy are getting their ass whooped by Solo/Tama and maybe Jacob and Jey’s music is going to hit to a huge pop and he’ll make the safe.
Jey Uso is still the most important part of this story. Because he, not Solo, is the real heir to the throne as Tribal Chief.
