Ricky Starks comments on absence from AEW TV

Without knowing Ricky Starks, I feel like he “checked out” because he felt like he went as far in AEW as he was going to go.

If he sees himself as a World Champion, why stay where you’re seen as a middle of the pact or tag team guy.

I personally think when he challenged MJF for the belt was when he was at his most over and after that he still did stuff, just probably not what he wanted

I mean even after that he still feuded with top stars. I don't think he becomes a World Champion in WWE either if I had to bet. He will be a top upper midcard guy holding US or IC title (which tbf singles wise is above his title win in AEW) but I don't think he becomes world champion any time soon over there.

But if he is not happy he should leave, however don't expect the booker to use you if you are going soon

He could win the World Heavyweight Championship. I don’t ever see him being WWE Champion.

I think when he does jump, he’ll have a solid run with the NXT title. I could see Trick dropping it to Wes Lee and then Wes drops it to Ricky.

Then when he gets to the main roster, even if he does peak with the IC title, it’s still 2 million people watching you every week as a Champion.

Yeah, I’ll be honest just like I said with AEW. There’s probably a good 6 to 10 people in each brand that would be ahead of him.

And in Tony’s defense, sitting at home til your contract runs out is better than going to work every week and getting beat.

Cause that’s what most promoters have done throughout history when a guy is leaving

Putting Ricky in NXT would be a waste, Cody will push for him to be on the brand he is on

Oh if he goes NXT he is winning that title for sure. He is above NXT easily

CW actually has a much larger reach than USA Network. Both its national and its syndicated stations.

He’s for sure going to be more well-known than Tama, though.
