similar but different
in a proving grounds match, there's a 15 minute time limit and the challenger only has to survive to get a title shot. Eliminator matches also eliminate you from contention for a while, where I don't believe that necessarily applies in proving grounds

I like the addition to the proving ground match, if you make the champion, go to a draw you get a title match.
I’m not sure if they were still doing it near the end but I do remember them doing it a couple of times from the early Sinclair era I want to say. Which is just another way that Tony honors the ROH tradition.

This is why Tony should go back to monthly supercards for Ring of Honor now that he’s not on traditional pay-per-view. It gives people incentive to stay subbed.
