Team FKA IIconics don’t have Green Cards.

Hidden Blaze

The Wanted Man
The former IIconics (Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay) don’t have Green Cards, unsure of their pro wrestling future in the US

Cassie and Jessica revealed on the latest “Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette” podcast that they still don’t have their Green Cards:

“The difficult thing for us is that we still don’t have our Green Cards, so we’re not allowed to work until we get those, or we can find some sponsorship anywhere else. We’re so excited, we have this freedom, and we have so many ideas, but pump the brakes, we can’t do any of it. The podcast that we’re doing, we’re not making any money off it. It’s purely to get our name out there and stay relevant. It’s tough knowing we have all these things we want to do, but can’t do it. We’re in this holding pattern right now. There’s literally nothing we can do. It’s just waiting.

We have been in this process for four years, which is basically unheard of. No one could control the pandemic, or the government, or that kind of stuff…People are like, ‘What do you want to do now?’ I’m like, ‘Nothing, because I can’t legally work here in this country.’ People think you apply for a Green Card and it comes in the mail. Doing this stuff takes years, things get denied or having to switch the process over because of the pandemic, and it’s year after year.

It’s like, we’re almost there, but almost there could still be a year away. People are like, ‘It will work itself out, or surely your former employer can help.’ It’s like, ‘No. We are in this together. It’s just us doing it by ourselves now.’ That’s been another added stress in getting released, because we didn’t know what will happen, like, ‘Do we have to leave the country? Do I have to sell my house?’ We had no idea how it works. Thankfully, we can stay here, but that added stress. It is a lot. We hope it can work itself out in the next 6-12 months.”

If a company wanted to sign them would it be a difficult process to just sponsor them? Since she said they either have to get green cards or get a new sponsor.

Yeah, I would think it should hopefully be that easy. But damn, the fact it’s taking that long (pandemic or not) is ridiculous. Like it’s been in process for four years? Just crazy. But hopefully they can just be sponsored and get to work.

Sponsoring someone in the United States isn't easy because even if you meet all the criteria they can deny you and all.
I would just marry someone for the green card.
Marrying someone just for a green card or citizenship is a high federal crime.

Also, the whole green process only takes three years, I should know, but the fact it has taken four years and nothings seems odd because that means the filled for it and all way before Covid, 2017 to be exact and such.

Itchy tasty
My friend had to go back to Czech Republic because her time expired and my job was a bitch and wouldn’t pay the money to extend. She’s since been working on getting back here and has a boyfriend who lives here, so, the hope of marriage looms so she can stay. Sad situation, they’re a great tag team, hope it works out.

I keep forgetting sarcasm doesn't really show on text lmao. I'm a wiseass in real life it was more my fault haha.
It is all good. In real life, I barely get any jokes or sarcastic remarks so we can call it in the middle and say it is both of our faults, lol.
