Money In The Bank Match Moving to SummerSlam?
Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

There are rumors in WWE that the Money in the Bank match will become a regular match for SummerSlam. The match being on SummerSlam would make the event feel more “special.â€￾ There were also rumors that the match and Money in the Bank pay-per-view would be shifted to July but it’s not yet confirmed.

I'd love it to be at Summerslam! Elimination Chamber at Summerslam was great when they did it so why not MITB? I would also hope this would mean only 1 MITB case holder per year....

Ditto this.

But WWE currently have the MitB PPV scheduled for July so it's unlikely unless that changes.

HELL IS NOT A MYTH
This actually seems like a fantastic idea. Ladder matches just seem more summer-oriented, so having WWE's top ladder match at the bigest party of the summer is nothing but sensible. My only concern is that if they do keep Money In The Back as a PPV, it will be too close to SummerSlam. In fact, there's less than 2 months between them. There'd only be one month if they actually moved it to July so that'd basically be overkill right there. So with that said, as long as MitB as a Pay-per-View is rescheduled to sometime in fall or sometime or nixed entirely, it will be fine, but if Money in the Bank keeps it same spot, I'm not buying.

Love That Danhausen
I wouldn't care no matter what route they went. As long as they wait for Barrett to come back to win it and then hold the case for about a year and cash it in at next years WM to take the belt off of whomever wins it.

Barret will definitely win the big one this year. It would be epic indeed if he won by winning MitB this SummerSlam after coming back from injury.

As far as MitB taking place at SS, I don't mind at all. I really wish they kept it for WM, as I was sorely missing them while watching WM27 last year.
