IMO Lucas is a good producer not a good director. I'm not a fan of American Graffiti either. He didn't direct Raiders Spielberg did.

Well if Raiders was a joint-effect then you must have some inside information which I don't. Lucas had a hand in the story (althrough not the final screenplay) and co-produced with a number of others. Spielberg was the only director involved.

There is a good story to be told here, but based on the trailer it does look like they have gone for the most predictable aspects of it. Think I will still give it a look though.
