Synopsis:
The announcement was made on October 23rd, otherwise known to Fallout fans as “Fallout Day” — the in-game date that marks the beginning of the Great War that turns the world into an irradiated nuclear wasteland.

Alongside the premiere announcement itself (which was amusingly presented as an interactive Pip-Boy interface graphic), Amazon said in a press release that the show will be an original story set in a future, post-apocalyptic version of Los Angeles and will be considered a canonical addition to the existing game franchise. We do not currently know how many episodes will be in the series or what the release schedule will look like following the premiere.

I obviously need to see how this looks first but I'm definitely intrigued. I always thought Fallout's setting would be perfect for a show.

I remember playing Fallout: New Vegas and enjoying the hell out of that Game so I'm so down for this Series.

From what it looks like, it seems to be more based on Fallout 4 given the BoS using T-60 Power Armor and the Prydwen. I wished they would have done New Vegas given it's popularity and the fact, you could do a thing where there is four endings

It supposedly is an "original" story that'll be considered canon... Just from those screens Fourthy posted earlier this week though, it looks like a hotch-potch mixture of Fallout 3 and 4. Some of those look like they could easily be recreations of specific moments of those games.

I love the franchise to death... but I don't think I'll ever watch this. ...and officially making it canon is just... meh. Not because I won't watch it, I'd say the same if I'd watch it and it'd turn out to be the greatest TV show of all time, just to be clear.
