I haven't been interested in consistently watching wrestling for a while now but AEW has certainly peaked my interest. I like a lot of the wrestlers they have signed and I am interested in how it goes.

It also helps the owner is also the owner of my favourite NFL team.

Anyone else very interested by AEW?

I'm not super excited to watch or anything but I'm very interested in how things go from a business perspective and I def want them to at least have some moderate success bc more wrestling is always good in my eyes

It is about time there was an alternative to WWE again. Would be nice to have a solid second company. Time will tell, but I will keep an eye out for them.

About time? There's been alot of alternatives throughout the years.

Not WWE's fault people don't go actually seek them.

TNA, ROH, NJPW, NOAH, AJPW, EMLL, CMLL, AAA and Lucha Underground I can name off the top of my head.

Globally Renowned Producer & Coach Dean Malenko Joins AEW
-- AEW Signs Malenko to Multi-Year Deal as Senior Producer / Coach --

Las Vegas, NV (May 24, 2019)
– AEW today announced a multi-year deal with world-renowned coach, producer and wrestler Dean Malenko. Effective immediately, the former No. 1-ranked wrestler in the PWI (Pro Wrestling Illustrated) 500 will take on the role as Senior Producer / Coach.

Malenko, who spent the past 18 years producing and coaching some of the biggest starts in wrestling, a second-generation wrestler trained by his father, the acclaimed Boris Malenko. Malenko's impact will be immediate as he joins AEW this weekend at DOUBLE OR NOTHING, the highly-anticipated event on Saturday, May 25, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

"Dean Malenko has been a massive force behind some of today's biggest wrestling stars," said Cody Rhodes, EVP of AEW. "He's never stopped being a major talent who was part of the ECW revolution as well as a fixture in the cruiserweight movement on Nitro. He's kept an open mind to our world from Lucha Libre to Japanese pro-wrestling. He's the perfect fit for our sports- centric mentality, and his experience will be invaluable for our team. Welcome Coach!"

"It's not often you get an opportunity late in your career to be a part of building something from the ground floor," said Dean Malenko. "The freedom to be able to contribute uninhibited will only lend itself to foster creativity and produce an outstanding product. I'm excited about what the future holds for AEW, and I can't wait to be a part of the journey."

-Las Vegas, NV (May 25, 2019) – In a night jam-packed with intense showdowns and incredible clashes, AEW rocked the wrestling world even further with a surprise appearance by international wrestling star Jon Moxley to close out DOUBLE OR NOTHING.

AEW confirmed tonight that it has officially signed Moxley to a full-time, multi-year agreement effective immediately. Moxley, who was twice voted as Most Popular Wrestler of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated, will make his in-ring debut at FYTER FEST in Daytona Beach, FL, on Saturday, June 29.

“The arrival of Jon Moxley at Double or Nothing was the perfect ending to one of the most important nights in wrestling history,” said Tony Khan, President and CEO of AEW. “There was no better way to conclude an evening of new beginnings than with the introduction of the best free agent wrestler in the world. The chaotic scene that unfolded in the closing moments of Double or Nothing was emblematic of the unpredictability and explosiveness that Jon Moxley will bring to AEW. We’re very proud that Jon has signed a multi-year contract, and he is officially on the All Elite Wrestling roster!”

So far there's only two people on this roster I like and that's MJF and Hangman Page....rest are jabronis who offer me nothing different from what I see on every other show.

And pushing Brandi as your womens top heel...... :nope

AEW's TV debut has sold out, had some ticketmaster issues at first but looks like it'll be a packed house. These sell-outs look nice for sure but it makes me think they should really try and get some bigger arenas, though my TEW days have taught me that you don't want to move up too quickly.
