I absolutely agree but to be fair to Hunter I don’t think he’s even gonna try. I think he’s written off anyone that signed with AEW under those agreements that we’ve seen lately where they’re like 3 to 5 years for $15 million. He assumes that by the time you get all the way out there AEW would probably offer an even bigger contract to stay. And he’s not really worried about also like waiting five years to sign someone.I think they might be making a bit of a mistake with this attitude as well, a lot of people have friends in AEW and have partners there or worked there themselves. I don't think, for example, slightly talking shit about Okada is gonna make him consider signing with you when this contract is up. Catch more flies with honey, as they say!
Thanks for the reminderIs tomorrow.
just a funny contrast with TK saying he's gonna be aggro as fuck with free agents the whole year even though he got sasha and okada and will. Different strategies is interesting, maybe Hunter is mad he's making them break the bank for becky and sethI absolutely agree but to be fair to Hunter I don’t think he’s even gonna try. But sending this message does definitely going to hurt chances signing future free agents. But I don’t think he’s too worried about that either. Like I said, I think he was being very intentional with words here. He wants people that want to do house shows to come to the WWE.
I think that could be a part of it. I would assume anyone that is coming up for negotiations right now, has that AEW card to make sure they get paid fair to stay. And I do think they would be willing to pay people they’ve already invested in to stay rather than paying it to bring in new people.just a funny contrast with TK saying he's gonna be aggro as fuck with free agents the whole year even though he got sasha and okada and will. The PC is most def a thing I've considered too no doubt. That's wwes pipeline. The indies is aews main pipelineI think that could be a part of it. I think the other reason why Hunter isn’t too worried about it is because they refocused on utilizing the PC and it seems to be working so far. A lot of really good talent have been developed in house so it’s just two entirely different strategies.
I wonder if aew will ever do it. Nightmare factory is not really a good option either as you can't really have aew prospects in a gym w wwes top babyface. Gotta protect ur assets a bitI’m honestly surprised it took WWE so long to think about creating their own in-house PC when WCW more or less did it first in the 90s and it produced the big show and Goldberg and handful of midcard acts.
Looks like a great show. Melo and Trick are about to steal the show, that or Bron if he busts out something crazy in that tag team match. So…Stand and Deliver
I’m saying. Trick getting so over with the crowd; dude is bout to run NXT.Looks like a great show. Melo and Trick are about to steal the show, that or Bron if he busts out something crazy in that tag team match.
