MITB Match Officially Scrapped From WrestleMania + ppv Schedule and Sheamus / FCW

Sheamus will take part in a meet and greet at tonight's FCW event at Osceola Heritage Park Expo Hall 1875 Silver Spur Lane, Kissimmee, Florida.

-- We can now confirm that the Money in the Bank Ladder Match is officially off the WrestleMania 28 card. They will be doing a full pay-per-view based on the Money in the Bank match.

-- Here is the updated list of WWE pay-per-views scheduled for this year:

* WrestleMania 28 – April 1st – Miami, FL
* Extreme Rules – April 29th – Chicago, IL
* Over The Limit – May 20th – Raleigh, NC

Having a Hell In a Cell stipulation is supposed to be special but it's not when we already know when there is gonna be one. Well not just 1, but 2. Bullshit. I thought they scrapped the PPV, that's why they put one on 'Mania, ffs.

Having one MitB each year at WM made the whole thing much more special. Now with two MitB, it feels saturated.

I don't see how it is that big of a deal. This way they can put an extra match into WM that won't take up a half hour or forty five minutes. Thus they can add a little more time to other matches.

They did just that at least year's Wrestlemania, and that sure as hell didn't help things out.

Sheamus vs Bryan for the US Title was a dark match.
The Corre getting obliterated in under 5 minutes.
Jerry Lawler vs Michael Cole went on for like 20 minutes.

Huge news regarding Wade Barrett and why the MITB match was nixed.

According to pwpix.net, Wade Barrett will be out of action for 3-4 months due to his injury. Wade underwent surgery and the injury was far worse than expected. The plan was for Wade to win the money in the bank ladder match and hold the briefcase for a while. Because of Wade's injury, WWE decided to scrap the MITB match. (thanks big show).

- Wade Barrett will be out of action for 3-4 months and will miss WrestleMania 28. Barrett underwent surgery on his dislocated elbow earlier this week and the injury is said to be far worse than originally expected.

Barrett's injury has caused major changes to WrestleMania 28 as the plan was to have Barrett win the Money in the Bank ladder match and carry the briefcase. WWE decided this week to pull the Money in the Bank match from WrestleMania 28 due to Barrett's injury.

Barrett wrote earlier this week that he would be off Twitter for a few months and the injury is why.

I call bullshit. Not on Barrett's injury, but on MitB ever happening in the first place.

1. They still have the PPV.

2. You could see from the EC PPV that they're setting up a multi man tag match at WM between the GM's. So by moving all the guys they have nothing for there, they take away one of the purposes MitB served.

Sorry, but the whole "MitB at WM" idea seems to be one of those things some reporter made up and gathered steam for some reason.

It's not really big shows fault. It was just an akward catch and his elbow caught the table. Still a shame he will be out so long

It wasn't totally big show's fault. He did throw Dolph a little hard but he didn't know Barrett was gonna get hurt. Although Big Show has been wrestling for 16 years so he should know how to throw people.
