Multiple Malfunctioning PS4

This is why I just wait half a year until I get a new system, most of the bugs should be eliminated by then.

Yeah I've never bought a system on launch date or even a few months after launch date. Always wait a good while before getting it.

If its a Nintendo console, then I would be willing to buy it day 1. There are very few hardware issues with Nintendo, its just the lack of strong software that keeps me from it.

Could have told you this was going to be an issue, and XBOX One will have a bunch of people screaming about how piss poor the console works(its happened with every Microsoft console, and seems to be a trend within Microsoft ie. phones, Windows OS, etc.), so I don't get how people think this is news.

That is true about Microsoft, I am on my second surface 2 after the other crapped out 3 days in.

This is also the reason I'm waiting to buy a 0s4. Give them 6 months or so to work out kinks

I have to agree. I bought my Wii actually like a couple months after it was released... had to buy it used since all the new ones were sold out everywhere. That is the only system that has not given out on me. Had to replace the PS3 and the 360. But the Wii has stood strong all this time with no probs at all out of it.

I got my Wii about a month after release, went to the casino and won $900 on a Price is Right slot machine and figured why not. I had a few minor issues, like a game wouldn't be recognized from time to time if I had it in the console before turning it on, and after I unhooked it, I had to clean the connectors going into the machine, but that's just dust. The Wii U has yet to be a problem, except the lack of games worth buying.

I still have my 360 from its launch. It was a good one, never a problem out of it.

My ps3s fan broke and I had to get a slim

I guess Nintendo has it right cause they choose to keep it simpler than the other two. They trying to make computers that do everything.

Still have my original 60gb PS3 from launch and my OG 360 never broke I upgraded to the new slim for memory and traded it in on a double value event; so I have always had good luck with buying my consoles on launch.

And Nintendo will always have its fans no matter what because of Mario and Zelda being exclusive.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
The people that bought them expecting them to be perfect day one are the morons. This always happens with new console releases.

I haven't had any problems with my PS4 at all so far although I am not surprised to see some problems. .4% doesn't seem like a big number but the sheer amount of systems they sold makes it a pretty big deal. Hopefully mine continues to work fine.

mine worked fine up till today, turned it on played knack for 10 mins and it went black screen, thought hdmi failed but the console then restarted and told me to submit a error report. Clicked on knack and it froze at the loading menu. Had to pull the plug as no buttons were responding and third time I went to play a digital game, worked, then went back to knack and 10 mins in again it froze.

Have left it off sine but seems its running hot off playing disc based games; real smart to put the power brick inside the console. :/
