After their brutal SummerSlam title rematch last week on WWE 205 Live, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak and Oney Lorcan had a heated altercation and had to be separated by WWE officials and fellow Cruiserweights.

As a result of the chaos after the bout, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick took to Twitter to announce that Gulak and Lorcan would each pick a team of five Superstars, including themselves, and compete in a Captain’s Challenge Match tonight on WWE 205 Live.

Over the next five days, Gulak chose Ariya Daivari, Mike Kanellis, Angel Garza and his friend-turned-rival Tony Nese. Lorcan put together a squad consisting of Gentleman Jack Gallagher, Akira Tozawa, Humberto Carrillo and Isaiah “Swerve” Scott.

Who will reign supreme? Don’t miss this highly anticipated battle during the most exciting hour of television, WWE 205 Live, streaming live tonight at 10/9 C on the award-winning WWE Network.

So what did everyone think about this 10 Man Captain’s Challenge Elimination Rules Tag Match? I thought my hype level was too high and I was a little disappointed by the Match, but still a fun one to watch. Just wished the fans were awake during the Show bunch of sleep walkers out there. It made me want to see more of Swerve and Angel Garza, while also continuing the feud with Lorcan and Gulak, and lastly giving Humberto the win showing he might be in the next in line after Lorcan to face Gulak. Swerve my MVP of this Match though.

Yeah I agree with Deezy, Carrillo and Garza were my top two in that match, but Swerve looked great as well. Overall the match was a lot of fun, but I didn't really like how spotty it was at the beginning. It started getting a lot better once a few eliminations were in. I like the gimmick being used on the show though since it ain't like 205 will ever get a Survivor Series match. I thought they could have done a little better pushing some more rivalries during it, though they did it fine with Tozawa/Gallagher and Garza/Carrillo

Started paying attention to Twitter as soon as the faces grabbed umbrellas.

Also wasn't feeling the forced cutaways for promos during the match.

I'm okay with it as long as it's picture in picture. I mean yeah I'd prefer none of them, but if they're gonna put in their ads I'd rather the picture-in-picture instead of cutting away from the match completely.

WWE 205 Live preview: Aug 27, 2019: Kalisto battles Daivari
Tonight on WWE 205 Live, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto looks to silence Ariya Daivari and prove The Lucha House Party is stronger than ever.

Kalisto aims to silence Ariya Daivari
In recent weeks, Ariya Daivari has been in the head of The Lucha House Party’s resident hot-head, Lince Dorado. The Persian Lion has been doing his best to convince The Golden Lynx that he no longer has to be held back by The Lucha House Party. Dorado’s focus has also been on Humberto Carrillo, who he believes does not honor the lucha tradition. A mysterious attack on Gran Metalik two weeks ago left Kalisto and Dorado teaming with Carrillo in a victorious effort against Ariya Daivari and The Singh Brothers.

While Metalik’s attacker remains a mystery, Kalisto believes it was part of Daivari’s master scheme to break apart The Lucha House Party. Tonight, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion looks to silence The Persian Lion and keep the party going.
