I watched Extreme Rules 2012 earlier today. Solid ass show, with a raucous Chicago crowd.

Bryan/Sheamus was an excellent 2 out of 3 Falls Match, and definitely made up for their nothing of a match at WrestleMania 28. Punk/Jericho in a street fight was good shit.

Brock/Cena is a great match with a great story to it. Brock coming in from UFC and adding a 'legit' feel to wrestling by delivering stiff blows throughout. CENAWINSLOL does ruin it a tad, but all good.

Would recommend people to re-watch it.

Yeah great PPV, the worst example of Super Cena couldn't even bring it down too much even if I still say that was dumb af lmao Brock really didn't get that aura he has now until the Streak was broken tbh

The Streak is what made Brock an ass kicker again. He was never the same after that Cena loss, and that Triple H feud was pretty awful, honestly. The Punk stuff was good at Summerslam. 2014 is when he felt legit again, especially after destroying Cena as well at Summerslam in a one sided affair.

I think if Brock barely lost since 2012, him breaking the streak would have been unnecessary.

Brock's match was a microcosm of his character when he returned.

He was real, nobody else was, he was making demands to Johnny Ace.

He bet the fuck out of Cena and he slipped on a banana peel after ONE mistake....then he changed it up and brought back Heyman.

This shit is chess it ain't checkers.

I imagine WWE writers as playing something more like the game where you put the shapes into the right boxes

I just signed up for peacock. They give you 4 months for $10. That’s really good :lol

and yeah Brock losing his return match was so stupid especially since Cena was being built to have a shitty year anyway lmao. And I completely disagree about about the Hunter/Brock feud. Most of it was built really well. I love how Brock broke Triple H’s arm and then attacked Vince months later which brought Triple H back who then made Brock bleed.

The feud was okay, the matches were pretty bad. Just didn't feel like there was enough heat there when there should have been.

Those arm breakings were grade A cartoon hilarity tbh

Yeah, I think this is one of the things that bothered me. I used to hate when Pete Dunne did the finger snapping thing as well (not sure if he still does). It started to look ridiculous after a while.
