AEW based in florida too tbf!If Tony puts in a decent enough press, I could see him going to AEW but I would be pretty confident saying that I don’t think Nak isn’t leaving the states again, but he loves his Florida home.

I haven’t seen the second one you’re referring to, but I think Paul’s point was the more money for less dates but yeah it is a very funny thing to talk about like it’s a negative.Fwiw I don't really care what shit he talks about AEW, he can bury them all day long and bonus points if it's actually funny. It's ridiculous to me that this is now two WWE people going on interviews this week talking about how talent making more money has these negatives. Very obvious narrative that's trying to be put out to me and it's not "AEW sucks," that would be much less harmful
Seems like kismet!AEW based in florida too tbf!
he's referring to Punk, I believe, with the guaranteed money bad stuffI haven’t seen the second one you’re referring to, but I think Paul’s point was the more money for less dates but yeah it is a very funny thing to talk about like it’s a negative.
Punk on Ariel's interview said he thinks guaranteed money is ruining the business bc the Bucks didn't wanna work with him. That convinced him they should go back to only getting a check if the house is good even tho all the money is in media rights now not gatesKross Rhodes said:I haven’t seen the second one you’re referring to, but I think Paul’s point was the more money for less dates but yeah it is a very funny thing to talk about like it’s a negative.
Gotcha.he's referring to Punk, I believe, with the guaranteed money bad stuff
Maybe this is why punk hates Nash so much. Nash pretty much shepherded in the modern era concept of guaranteed money for everyone.Punk on Ariel's interview said he thinks guaranteed money is ruining the business bc the Bucks didn't wanna work with him. yea has you said, backwards is a good word. Drumming interest for mania by spending two hours on the competition is not the way !Gotcha.
Yeah, Punk is also talking from a old school business standpoint because he wants to help grow the house, but I feel this is also why he said almost because I don’t think the talent themselves can do anything to improve this for AEW.
But yeah, just funny overall. It feels calculated now that Punk did this interview and then Hunter talks about it. It’s like Hunter asked Punk to do this interview to drum up interest mania weekend. It’s so ass backwards, though. Worry about mania.
Yeah, I have no doubt that thinking about the Bucks sent him into an absolute rage. But I will say that I don’t think he spoke anything necessarily he wouldn’t have said otherwise. Even when him and AEW were on good standing points, a lot of his talking points and promos and interviews would be about how he popped ratings, he increased attendance, how he got $1 million gate etc.Personally I think he just gets that heated when he thinks about the Bucks and sees red that he says shit like that without thinking and wouldn't have if he wasn't full of rage tho but it doesn't change now that it's starting to be a pattern in WWE interviews
