We are at the lowest point in wwe history

Anyone who lived through the WWF in 1995 can tell you unequivocally that this is NOT the lowest point in the promotion's history and any attempt to suggest so is just dishonesty. Even if you don't like what they are doing, you have to admit that they are growing to points they haven't seen in...

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

When I went to an AEW card last Summer I told a buddy of mine "Okay, I can't believe I am going to say that, but their butts are actually cuter in person than I expected!"

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

If they had outright announced Mone's debut tonight, do y'all think they could have broke the 10,000 mark for the TD Garden?

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

I do wonder if Khan tightening up on booking leaks has led to more negative responses in the Observer in response. If they have been cut off from their rumor mill, it would stand to reason that they would be disgruntled and let that sink into their reporting, even in a passive-aggressive type of...

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

That is true. They have been missing the mark more often than hitting the bullseye lately.

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

The thing is, Bryan Alvarez reported a couple of weeks back that people in the locker room were becoming unhappy with the situation, and I'm hearing mixed results on exactly what their current financial situation is. From what I understand, they aren't in danger of going under, yet, but they...

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

When they get back to filling up moderate sized arenas on a routine basis and averaging in the neighborhood of a million people watching a week, then I will believe they are a solid second place, again. Right now, they are in second place, but the foundation does not look sturdy, at all...

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

That would definitely help as far as a cushion going forward. The fact that they don't have one yet and their numbers are dropping does make me nervous. I understand why they don't have a deal, yet, but it also makes me wonder what the decision makers behind the scenes think seeing the figures...

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

They don't need to be as big as WWE. They do, however, have to turn things around. Their numbers are shrinking. Their live attendance has been going down tremendously outside of big events (like tonight), and their viewership has been slipping down significantly over the past year. I don't...

AEW Dynamite: BIG BUSINESS! March 13th, 2024 Live from Bo$$ton

It feels like this is a cross roads moment for AEW. If they get a much larger audience (as I expect them to), then they have to take advantage of it and try to bring viewers back in while also, possibly, creating new fans. If things remain status quo for them tonight going forward, I am afraid...

    The Promotional Lineage of WWE

Reading through Ballyhoo and researching the early days, I am starting to wonder if there can be a direct or broken lineage between Jack Curley (one of the first major wrestling promoters of the 20th century) to the modern day World Wrestling Entertainment. Jack Curley was one of the key...

AEW Collision March 9th, 2024: ATLANTA STREET FIGHT!!

Maybe someone finally figured out that Toni would be better as a babyface doing this and they are angling to make Mariah the antagonist and Toni more sympathetic for the turn?

SmackDown Live Live SmackDown Discussion thread, March 8th 2024: Logan Paul returns to SmackDown

I don't know what a heel can say these days that won't get some folks whining on social media.

TNA Sacrifice 2024 - FRIDAY, March 8 - Live from Windsor, Ontario - Live on TNA+

On one hand, I really hope not. Masha and KK make an outstanding team together. They have magnificent chemistry. On the other hand, they really are only a tag team in TNA and there's only so far you can take that with two singles wrestlers who are simply paired up together.

SmackDown Live Live SmackDown Discussion thread, March 8th 2024: Logan Paul returns to SmackDown

I'd bet a ton of money Vince hasn't watched a minute of WWE since this mess started with him. And it is probably for the very reason that if he can't control it, he doesn't care about it.

Watching STARDOM PPVs in the United States

The STARDOM Twitter page is linking to something called "PIA Live Stream" I've never heard of this service before right now.

Watching STARDOM PPVs in the United States

I am very tempted to order Sunday's STARDOM event, but this would be the first time I've ever attempted to order an international PPV. Has anyone gotten one of STARDOM's events via PPV before? If so, how difficult was the process (if it is even possible in the U.S. for that matter)?

TNA Sacrifice 2024 - FRIDAY, March 8 - Live from Windsor, Ontario - Live on TNA+

It seems like no matter who the promoter is or what company (or even fight sport) they run, eventually they all fall into the MLB umpire trap of letting their ego get in the way of doing what is right. At some point, no one who runs a wrestling company wants the fans telling them "you're wrong."
